The In-character Summary
Glory of Dawn is a sect of scholar soldiers that not only strive to push back the forces of Destruction, but also explore and research, looking for information and clues about enemy activity and stratagem. Carefully recording this information gathered, the High Council of Glory of Dawn analyze their plunder of knowledge to decipher their next move on the battlefield. Other documentation that is found is safely and carefully scribed, bound and stowed in the Library of Altdorf, as the templar of the Glory of Dawn know the value of all manuscripts gathered.The faction is led by the conniving witch hunter, Kaltric Von Kelter, who comes from a long line of descendant witch hunters who first formed Glory of Dawn. The guild was traditionally passed down from father to son in the effort to uphold wisdom, knowledge and the safety of innocent citizens against the subtle attempts of corruption by the forces of chaos.
Master Von Kelter and his two officers, Deseralla Silnathil, the hooded spy, and Kraigen Von Helm, the silent, steadfast follower of Sigmar work together to train their followers to be a well-disciplined fighting force that not only masters the art of information recovery and research but aid in pushing back the tides of destruction threatening to overwhelm their homelands. Unlike other conscript regiments or common mercenaries, Glory of Dawn performs the duty of being a raiding strike force aimed at precision strikes on enemy positions and formations.
The Out of Character Summary
Glory of Dawn was formed on the European RP-RVR server, Alarielle, on the 20th of September 2008. The founding members were Anarion, Deseralla, Kaltric and Kraigen. Out of the four, Anarion was elected leader and the other three took positions as High Council. Two weeks later, Anarion quit Warhammer Online and Kaltric took over as leader. On the 29th of December 2008, Glory of Dawn relocated to the RP server, Burlok, since Alarielle was seen as unfit to continue running by GOA.The guild is a role-playing guild and encourages the growth of role-playing on the server. We have no race restrictions and are currently actively recruiting members of any level range. We also encourage exploration and the unlocking of entries in the glorious Tome of Knowledge.

Legion of Unity is an army with guilds forming branches of the force. Each guild within the alliance plays a role specific to the alliance. Glory of Dawn has the duty of the intelligence branch, strategies, enemy movements and war plans. Council of Seven performs is the military regiment that provides hardened soldiers for active duty and masters the battlefield.
